I picked this one up on sale and love it. Next option I love is the Black Ovis Realm Hoodie. Awesome for the price.

Black Diamond AlpenGlow Pro is the best sun hoody I've tried (and have a bunch of them). The mesh armpits makes a significant differance. You have to get the Pro model to get that feature.
I haven't tried Kuiu's Tiburon sun hoody yet, but it looks promising.

They discontinued it. It was my favorite as well. Should have stocked up when i had the chance. It was also nylon instead of polyester which resists stink quite a but more and is more comfortable to sleep in

I've done one season with the Stone Glacier Avro synthetic hoody and would recommend it.

Dang! While I do have 3 of them, I wear the hell out of these in the summer and 2/3 have been cooked by the sun pretty good -completely different colors than they started out as. I lost my 4th one to a rodent who likes the taste of the salt from my sweat.

Im down in Tx and it’s hot through most of the early season. I have an issue, that I find poison ( insert) no matter what I do. So short sleeves are no longer an option. I’m looking for durable light weight breathable long sleeves hoodie options. I tried the search and didn’t find much. I’ve main run Sitka but looking at other options. GOHUNT, kuiu, FL, origin, mountain ops, or whatever. What’s yall go for 80 plus hot weather hoodie or long sleeve shirt?

I am a bass fisherman first and foremost and spend a ton of time on a boat deck in the sun. Even fished tournaments in 108* weather before. I've used a pile of sun shirts from Simms, Huk, aftco, etc. I have purchased some Kuiu Gila for hunting and like them so much I'm grabbing them for fishing. Lighter than the simms, just as much upf, thumb holes in the sleeves, a better fit. They are my new go to and will be on the boat with me as well as in the field.

I wore my pewter medium 80 straight days this fall and it’s about the size of a large now and discolored but relatively low stink, and zero discomfort sleeping in it.
