How well do the straps hold down a top load? These look way better than the cordura over saddle panniers

Ya they can handle a top load- dunnage preferably because you can really cinch it tight. Ya this style of pannier is way more secure than a ‘over saddle’ pannier. Even has a mock lash cinch
