I had a factory Nosler 260 rem that looked just like that.

Joking aside, shit happens. Call em up, they'll make it right. You'll likely get a full box of ammo to replace the one defunct round

I bought 2 boxes of Hornady 130gr .277 interlocks and by chance the first bullet I picked up out of the packet looked different. I compared it to my old stock and sure enough the cannelure was in a different position closer to the bullet tip. After sorting through the 2 new packs I found 7 bullets that were this way.

I emailed Hornady with batch numbers to let them know and they were very thankful for the feedback and offered to post out some merchandise and asked for my address.
When they realized I was in Australia they basically said, "we don't send there, goodbye"

That's what you get for not living at the center of the universe I guess.

I once tried some ELDX. Couldn't even get sub MOA at 2000 yards. Sold them on to the next sucker.

I have not been impressed with the Hornady handgun or rifle ammo I've used.
With two case head failures, I called Hornady and they weren't that interested in what I had to say.
No more Hornady for me.
