Hornady A-Tip Match Bullets

@Broz It will be interesting to see. The 195 is .755. I would suspect ..820ish out of the 245. I hope it kills better than the 195! haha.

I wonder if hornady will make factory loads with these to compete with Berger factory ammo...

What's price gonna be on these things?
Not what we are use to from their other lines. They are sequentially packaged. The tips are aluminum and machined not molded and they will take more production time. They wont be for everyone I don't think, but if they are easy to load as claimed, long range groups are smaller and hit percentage goes up, they will be worth the price I feel.

Jeff

Edit to add: I see the big 30 cal 250's priced at 90 cents each

Yeah midsouth is listing them at 75 for the 6 and 6.5 and 85 for the 30 cals.

What's minimum expansion velocity on these things?

The 110gr might be an interesting bullet for a 6cm.. or heck even if it was a 1800fps bottom end it'll do some good work in a 24" 6br.

They certainly seem interesting. The 153 in 6.5 doesn’t seem like a slouch either.
I’m betting they work pretty well on game especially since most are heavy for caliber bullets.
@broz,Ryan
9 twist for the 250s?

Looks like they need an 8 twist. Which I have in the 300 RUM +P and Broz has in the 300 HCM.

There wont be a min velocity for expansion, until we test. They are listed as Target Bullets. Which in my experience usually makes them the best for long range hunting. But we need to test first.
