Been through 2 of the Chinese ones.

Any good place for OEM?

Thanks.

Whats been crapping out on them?
Current one is randomly leaking gas into the air box.
Ride it, leave it sit for a couple hours and there is usually a small puddle underneath it and gas in the air box.

Random stalling with the first.

I needed one for old Honda 300. Found a NIB one on eBay. That would be the first place I would check.

I’m going to check eBay.

Do dealers carry anything that old?

Float set too high?

Hopefully the OEM Rancher carbs are still in production and not old stock that have been sitting in a warehouse for 10 years. I bought a new OEM (old stock) carb and fuel pump for my 2006 Yamaha Rhino a few years ago. Both were completely dried out from sitting on the shelf. I could have rebuilt the carb w new gaskets but the fuel pump wasn't serviceable. The OEM Rhino carbs have no screw heads on the screws holding the bowl on. I didn't feel like drilling and modifying a $350 factory carb so I returned them both and bought Chinese replacements from Amazon for 1/10th the cost. The fuel pump lasted a season before it began to fail which was about as long as the factory pumps last here in AZ. The Rhino pumps are vac driven and have a very small thin rubber membrane that dries out. At $13 each I just bought a new one each year. The carb was still operating great when I sold the machine earlier this year.

We buy lots of Chingaling carbs off eBay for Hondas. Maybe a bad one here and there but no pattern. No corn squeezin's in our gas though.
