I am looking for flip up, or down, windshield for a Honda Pioneer 1000-5 UTV. I currently have the fixed bottom windshield with the removable, scratch resistant top. I want to be able to quickly adjust the windshield without tools. Cold or rain turns to dust quickly.

Does anyone have experience with the windshields below? They flip up like a truck topper. Are they sturdy, or flop around?

Do you have a better setup?

I have a 1000-5 that I put a Seizmic windshield on. I love it so far, (5 years). I like having a full windshield 90% of the time. When it is really hot outside or I want some air flow, I open the vents and it cools you down quickly

I finally pulled the trigger on getting the Super ATV windshield a little while back.

Thanks for the recommendations. It’s going to be nice and versatile. It will be dusty one day, then we got snow Monday… yeah, snow on June 17th.

I'm sure you guys know this. The lexan ones flex alot if you leave them in place when towing. Just a thought, helped my bud change out his glass one becuase he left it in place when towing. Stone busted it.

I have a cover for my glass shield when it's on a trailer. I'd hate to have to replace one .

Yeah, he was not happy. I just take mine off and put it in the bed. Takes 5 minutes , that way I have to worry about it. I also made up a few half and full windshields out of .250 Lexan, just put them in a hydraulic brake for a few presses (for the lip makes them rigid) and you have a disposable windshield for hunting season.
