Honda generators convert to propane?

I feel like there has to be more to that story. Just one random source https://www.parkergas.com/2024/11/04/how-much-propane-does-a-generator-use ballparks 1-2gph for a 7-10kW generator and 3-5 for a 22kW. Since their home is so large let's use the higher number. 300 gallons / 5 gallons per hour is 60 hours of runtime at 100% power, and double that at 50% which is more realistic. Something doesn't math here.
Agreed. Burning 300 gallons of propane in 1.5 days doesn’t seem reasonable for a home backup generator. That’s about double the fuel consumption I would expect for a 20-ish kW generator running at full load.

In my opinion, the best part about a dual fuel generator is being able to completely clear the generator of all gasoline in the carburetor prior to storage. All of your jets and passages should be cleared of fuel by running propane through the carburetor after you turn the gasoline off.
