So, given that one or two of the new production SWFAs have had the reticle start to rotate I decided to drop test mine before bringing it on a hunt. Hight was mid thigh (not more than three feet, but not measured either).
First drop flat onto the left side hitting 3 layers of a folded up rug sitting on top of a hard floor was fine. There was an audible crack after the second drop directly onto the elevation turret, scope looks fine, but the butt stock wiggles.
