HMG Splash Bivy

Anybody have any experience with this bivy? I want to use it with a tarp and occasionally freestanding when I don’t feel like setting the tarp up. All of the photos on their website have it pitched with trekking poles and a tarp. I will use it that way most of the time but will also cowboy camp in it. Also how durable is the floor? I dont really want to have to use a ground tarp. Any info would be appreciated.

Just get a Zpacs offset 1 man tent, and save some weight.

I already have a tarp and I’ve been using it for the past couple seasons. I like to set it up for glassing and have it in case a random storm rolls through. Problem is I have ants and scorpions where I hunt in the early season and have been wanting to get something to keep the bugs out. Not pumped about packing a tarp and tent.
