I hunted with a guy this past season. He wore a 3 year old pair of Salomon Quest GTX. After a day with over 30,000 steps in the wet grass and the snow chasing elk from before daylight until we got back to camp after dark, he was the only one that still had dry feet. I ordered some the day we got back.

I picked up some Crispi West River and really like them on my feet. But everyone's foot is different so you need to try them on and walk around to find what works for you.
