High zoom power scope for small game hunting.

I like to know if I missed any alternatives to what I’m seeking.

Preferably high power 8-32x56 or even slightly higher. This will be for a squirrel gun running 22lr. I am really wanting to stay on the lightest of weight and also good clear high power not exceeding budget of $700-800. I only came across the sightron s3 8-32 or vx3 8-25. Are there any alternatives to these two?

Weight is above 32. I really like to keep it under the 28 or 28 and under. That usually means sfp.

Just curious, how far and where are you shooting that you need that much zoom? Seems to me 20-25x would be plenty top end zoom for a 22lr.

I’m setting up for squirrel for the December season so typical shots will be 75-100 yards. I’m not sure 24x on squirrel is adequate so figure 32x would come in handy when they are stretch out further. BTW this will probably be changing to 17hmr or 17wsm later for pest/critter control and will be 150-250 yards for varmint too.
