High end Diamondbacks - Please explain

While in a sporting goods store today I overhead the guy behind the gun/optics counter talking to a young couple that were interested in purchasing binoculars. They asked the guy behind the counter what his favorite brand was and he says, "Vortex". And then he goes on to tell them he has some "high-end Diamondbacks" that he really likes.

Can someone please explain what "high-end Diamondbacks" are.

High end Diamondbacks can be best described as an optical illusion. But if one is used to 15 year old perma focus Bushnells, they would seem high end.

I think VO nailed it. Several years back they changed some aspects of the lens, better coatings perhaps, anyway Vortex called them HD. They are solid price point Bino’s for the casual user imo.
