High country trail cam placement

Where do you like to place trail cams in the high country? I am talking right at treeline areas. I have never messed with trail cams too much but am thinking of trying to use them a bit this summer to up my scouting game. I know people place them in saddles and other pinch points.

Any tips about where you have found success would be helpful.

Generally any place that animals congregate. Trails and water are my two main places.
