High calorie power bar diy

Made the original kuiu recipe along with a random version of
Peanuts, cashews, almonds, pecans and dates, cranberries, blueberries, raisins and apricots for the fruit. Added some dark chocolate covered cherries after the food processor.
Both are good but have to say the random one was my favorite.

I whipped up the Kuiu version this morning and I love 'em!

It's my first time to try such but it won't be my last. I plan to use some of the recipes shared above and come up with a couple of favorites to pack into the backcountry this fall.

I'm a oatmeal and peanut butter & honey freak and I like most any kind of nuts so I will look for recipes utilizing these ingredients.

peanuts...massive inflammation of my joints in my hands. sucks, but I'd rather be able to use my hands in the mornings. I'll stick to the macadamia nut/date bars I've been making these last 10 years.

macadamias have the highest calorie density among the nuts so you are ahead of the game :)
