I am Joe from NM some of my friends call me Kachina joe because I always look up at the mountain for the Kachinas.
14 years its been since I started to hunt black bear in New Mexico and mule deer too. I have guided elk on a big private unit but never taken an elk by my own hand in any country. God willing this will be my year
I know California well and also know well the edges of reservation areas of Arizona. Many camps I've made in the sitgreaves and Tonto. Just last year I took up a compound bow for the first time and got a velvet buck from an oak thicket in mid september in new mexico. No bear this year; had to leave the mountain early to help my sister who got into drinking a little too much.
