It's why I don't own a nightforce scope
The affidavit filed with court says the reported the kills in locations in unit 28 (Gant Mountain) but that he actually killed them in locations in 21. So this rules out the boundary mix up theory. Someone in his party must have dimed him out. It also looks like his home in Belgrade has been for sale for 2 months, so maybe he knew this was coming for some time.
You think this is something? You haven't seen anything. I worked at Boeing for a while, they have an internal social media site for employees only. You should have seen me roasting some of those lefty nut bags with their psychopathic nonsense. Of course this was before I had kids and gave two ***** about losing my job over it. There was a guy from HR that was constantly on there spewing nonsense that never should have been put on an internal social media page.
I get that but at the same time most everyone here is saying…the law is the law, doesn’t matter if it’s 5 minutes out of season or 5 months, etc.
Well, if the law is the law then shouldn’t it apply equally to everyone?
I get, and happen to agree personally with making an example, but the equal application of the law seems lacking in this country.
BTW, if we punished everyone regardless if they were an influencer or not, it would be a stronger deterrent than punishing one person harshly.
Based on what I've seen come out of the courts in recent years I think he'll be in more trouble for the fraud charges than anything else, if convicted.
fffeeww, im glad you two figured that out cause I was caught in the middle. I feel better now.Got it. It may just be definitional or a misunderstanding then.
When I hear people advocating for the GOVT to make examples out of people that skews into weaponization territory, at least in my book.
Sentencing someone who VERY WELL should know better with the max punishment would not constitute that.
What's this?
This is disappointing and sad news - I enjoyed listening and watching Lampers.
I wonder why he is selling his house, bunch of equipment, and vehicles/ trailers? I mean legal fees are expensive but thats excessive. Something else brewing?

Agreed, and even if theyre given max, that amount is set too low to begin with. That’s part of the problem. Seems like most wildlife cases, influencer or not, are given minimal sentences or fines. Does nothing to give people a second thought on game violations.
Aaron Snyder?Maybe the instafluencer bubbles are starting to get popped...Lampers, Snyder, Mulie Freak...either we start policing ourselves or loose it forever. Those that try to be famous in this space have their priorities sideways and need to stop trying to prove something.
More and more of this, hopefully eye opening to the opportunities being lost out there due to guys with egos to fulfill.
These threads get locked when we have to babysit them.. Let's not get stupid, and it will stay open.....But I have doubts.
This is why I don’t have a problem with the hunting community roasting an influencer and their violations in forum like this. Unfortunately, after someone gets an attorney, it’s typical that their punishment is reduced to a trivial level.Agreed, and even if theyre given max, that amount is set too low to begin with.
Hanes hunts reservations and high dollar private ranches with landowner tags. His days of getting caught up in the regulations that govern the poors are over.I'm surprised dudley or Hanes haven't been caught up in anything yet. Content content content. Need the content for the business.
Probably for game management purposes, user info, hunting opportunity, hunt quality, habitat management, disease trackingNo, you said my honest comment was the most boneheaded comment on the web today, so I'll ask again.
What reason is that exactly? For what reason was Unit 21 and Unit 28 separated into distinct units? If this is the most obvious thing since slicing bread surely you can explain it to me.
“Who’s leg am I supposed to hump now?”
.
Coming from a guy in the intel world with experience using this for federal cases, it will definitely be used.
I don't a word of those charges. Lampers is one of the good guys and I refuse to believe this until he's defended himself. The chain of events seems very suspicious and he has to much to lose to break the rules let alone all of them.![]()
