A few weeks ago, Henry dropped their new lever action offering in the Special Products Division's HUSH and boy howdy!

Its no surprise since the space cowboy tactical lever action market has been exploding over the last year. Mossberg, Rossi, Marlin and Henry all have aftermarket vendors building tactical handguards and putting rails on their cowboy actions. Barrels are being threaded and chopped for cans, rails make optics a no brainer, and the Mlok slots are plentiful.
I have been dragging my feet on pulling the proverbial trigger on a smaller caliber lever action plinker. Something thats fun to shoot at camp and would be a good stepping stone for my boy. But this Henry may be getting my money sooner or later.
The Henry X Models and Marlin 1894 Dark Series are also hot contenders.
