I don't reload and have been looking at different shops that due custom/semi-custom loads.

I currently have a 30-06 which limits my options greatly.

I called the office and spoke with Lance about my gun and what I wanted to try. He offered to put together a custom pack of 10 190 Berger VLD's and 10 168 Berger Classic Hunters. Should be around $65 shipped and will be ready in 10-14 days.

I'm sure a few others out there are in the same boat. I will post my results once I get the bullets in.

I'm currently shooting Barnes TTSX 180 grain and would like to see if I can get my groups a little tighter.

They will also do custom load development where you ship them a gun and they build a load for you. Cost $399 + ammo, or half price if you buy the gun from them.

The other shops I found were ABM ammo and Copper Creek ammo.

Hey, thanks for posting this up. I’m interested in your results. 65$ is cheap if you don’t shoot that gun a ton, especially considering how much you save not buying reloading equipment.

I’d guess if you send them the gun they’d load for your personal distance off the lands?

I will keep this updated once i get it in.

From what i understood they are flexible. You tell them what your goals are and they start working. He said one the high side it would take 60 rounds to dial in a load. Once done they send you the results, load information and data to get a torrent built. They will save the data so you cam just order more ammo from them.

He also stated they inspect the gun and if they find any issues or after a few rounds don't feel like it is going to group they will let you know.

I have no idea if this is good or bad price wise but I'm happy with it.

I'm also looking at a Christian arms ELR. i could buy from them and have them build a round for half price before the ship it. This is very attractive to me.

Before I started handloading I bought ammo for my 280ai from Hendershots. Was very pleased with the quality and the consistency. Also take a look at Custom Reloads of Dallas.

Hammer Bullets will do custom development. Any bullet, or theirs. With their bullet it is less expensive obviously. Their bullets are lathe turned copper solids. mtmuley

That's great to hear about Hendershots. I've looked at Custom Reloads of Dallas but I don't like that I have to order 100 rounds at a time.

I'm going to give Cooper Creek a try for my Kimber Montana 7mm-08 and see what their loads can do for that gun. I'm currently running a nosler accubond 140 gr and it shoots about a minute. Their load development pack seems interesting with either the nosler or berger bullets.
