Help with tripod/head attachments

I have an old Vortex Summit SS tripod that I want to use both for optics and shooting. For reference, I have the Sig Sawtooth in 6.5prc and the little Vortex Razor Spotting scope - 56mm.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to order the Wiser BT-20 “Ridge Warden” tilt/ball head once they become available again, but is there an adapter that will go from the rifle (ARCA) to the existing Vortex ball head ? It looks like this…
Any help is appreciated

I saw a couple other threads about converting this same tripod to arca using an adapter plate but I don’t see how they would work with my setup without losing the head completely…

Yes, you will need an arca clamp that is threaded to receive your adapter plate for your current head. My suggestion would be to leave the arca clamp on your current head, and go to arca for everything instead of leaving the clamp on your rifle.
