I’ve done lots of reading and have gotten nowhere. I’d like to piece together a full reloading station. Single stage press is fine, but I want quality. I won’t load tons of volume. Main calibers would be 28 nosler and 300 Norma improved.

Get a Redding T7. It’s a bit more but it’s definitely worth it. I have a co ax, rock chukar, Dillon 750 and a t7 with extra turrets. The last one I would get rid of is the t7

I have a rock chucker I inherited from the 50s or 60s and is still cruising right along. I have two now one for decapping and one for loading. I prefer it on an elevated bracket from inline fabrication.

Just looked. It is on sale for $350 at midway USA. Is it a good all purpose press?

Rock chucker or the Rock Chucker kit. They last forever and are rigid enough to be precise with big cartridges. ( I do 380 ACP on mine too)

You can probably pick up a steal on eBay. If it's complete and not rusted all to pieces it'll make great cartridges. If something goes wrong with concentricity or run out, or shoulder bump dimension, it'll be something that's not the rock chucker.

Steal right here…

I have in cart so far:

Press
Dies (seating and sizing)
Scale and dispenser
Case trimmer
Tumbler with media separator
Priming tool
Annealer
Shell holder

What am I missing

Deburring tool. I also use primer pocket cutting tools to even out the depth of the pockets. Plus they are a great way to clean the primer pocket.
Don't forget the lube pad and lube.
