I left my binoculars on the ground in NM overnight once. Was sleeping under a tarp and they were within 5’ of me. Woke up the next morning and discovered some rodent had chewed a portion of the protective coating off. Around the eyepiece and body. Kind of a PITA to send in and have them “fixed”. Something to consider!Has anyone ditched a spotter and tripod when the put a stalk on and then come back later to get? There has been zero other hunters and I'm sure I could hide in a rock
