Congratulations! I hunted bull elk out here for the first 10yrs (killed a few cows along the way) and never, not even close, EVER even saw a legal bull when I had a tag! lol I have always been "just about run over" by cows, so they are all I hunt anymore, and they taste wonderful! You did good "John-Boy"!

300 win if it’s a rare or once in a lifetime type tag, take no chances is my mindset. Plenty of good factory ammo with a great break mine feels like a 308 but sounds like a 338.
