Help me with a new rifle please!

Looking into getting a new rifle. Would like to get a general purpose one (ranging from coyotes to elk). Was thinking about a 6.5 PRC or .308. Some say this is fine for elk, some say otherwise. I have a solid budget and was looking at a sig cross (.308) or a seekins precision for a couple hundred bucks more. Fierce is also having sales in my area, but I've heard such great things about seekins that I'm not sure if I should bother. Any and all input is appreciated. Thank you for lookihg.

I also was possibly looking at a Tikka t3x and swapping out the stock on it.

T3x in either one of those calibers is an excellent choice
