Saw this rifle on a rack yesterday and couldn't lay off. So old it says patent applied for on the receiver LOL. Serial number makes it a 1960 production, I'm told. Shot it today, and it shot well enough that I want to put a decent scope on it, but I also want something that suits the rifle. Thinking a gloss blue Leupold would look nice on it.

Let me know what you have. Thanks!

Got a really cool old Weaver K4 laying around here, it would be perfect for a .22 or even a .30-30 maybe....probably wouldn't put it on an '06. Bausch and Lomb Balvar maybe? They had some nice crisp optics in that time period....sweet rifle by the way!

I have a very nice, almost perfect condition gloss Weaver K6-1 Micro-Trac scope I would part with. Made in USA. I believe this would be a perfect addition to that rifle. Highly unlikely to find one in nicer condition. Let me know if it interests you. BTW, I compared the optical quality of this Weaver to a newer Leupold and it was quite comparable, I could see very little, almost no difference even in dusk to almost dark conditions. Speaks volumes to the quality of these older Weaver scopes.

PM inbound.
