Help me pic a yeti..

I have one of the smallest Yeti that I really like. It's good for quick day trips or tailgating. I think my next cooler will be an Orion cooler though. I've heard good things and I want to compare!

I have a 45, 105 and 110 ...take it for what it's worth ...I never wished i bought a smaller one.
I would get the 75 with the longer profile.

Two of my coolers i ordered from ACK, shipping was free and I was able to use 15% codes from an earlier purchase.

Good luck I am sure you will enjoy the cooler.

I agree with Trial 153 but stop at the 110. I have a 160 and it is a beast to handle....

I have a 125 and love it.I would not go smaller. Also have a hopper and it is amazing. I would look at the orion coolers. I researched both and the reason I did a yeti was because I could walk into the store and buy it. I am sure they are all competitive as the only thing that they can patient in the latch.

These threads crack me up . ....you can guarantee that in cooler threads or optic threads that no matter now specific the original poster is in asking a question at least half the comments will suggest products that aren't applicable to question.

Ha! It's all good. I appreciate the perspective. I've ordered a yeti 75. The jeep is small so I have to make sure it sits "right". I also ordered a tan color....which now I'm starting to second guess because it's "hotter than white. In reality, I don't have a pickup, so it's not going to be traveling in sun light.

Thanks all!

Saving a bunch of money and still getting a product that works well should ALWAYS be applicable to the question.

I disagree. If the question is open ended then you are welcome have at it and answer anyway you want.
However as in this case the question is its very acute, " should I buy a yeti 65 or 75?" If then your answer is to buy say...an igloo because you did. That isn't answering the question, it's seeking for affirmation for your choice.

A lot of the responses were directly to your highlighted question. "Should I buy a yeti 65 or 75?" No, you shouldn't........you should.......(insert responses).

The Igloo is crap. Some of us don't need affirmation from others for our choices, we rely on actual real life experiences and try to pass those on to others as a way for them to make the best choices for themselves. If they want to ignore those suggestions and still blow a wad of cash (or have another blow a wad of cash on them), that's their choice.

.

I must have struck a nerve to make you so defensive. Your correct some of us did answer the OP very specific question, and also like you stated some didn't. Below is a example of later.

This year I used my expensive roto-molded IRP 200qt marine cooler and a new Coleman Extreme 6 120qt cooler, both filled with frozen milk jugs. If I had it all to do over again, I'd just buy two or three of the 120qt Coleman's as they are $57/each, easier to handle by myself, and worked just as good at keeping the ice frozen for 7 days at a time as the expensive cooler.

I would say I am not trying to be a D**K, but I already know that I am an A**hole. So,
That is the kind of post that so many of us left other hunting forums to get any from. I for one like a good deal, and I really don't know every piece of gear, but many others can provide input that may actually change my decision for the better. I am also not a monetarily wealthy man and appreciate insight on products that may be just as good and cost significantly less. Leaving me with funds to possible get another piece of gear I have had my eye on.
Just my opinion. I am certain the OP will enjoy his new Yeti and seriously appreciate the effort of his wife to get it for him.
