I'm a whiskey guy. Having said that we had something way different in elk camp a few years back. At first blush it sounds a bit like a pussy drink but here goes..... whipped vanilla vodka with root beer and ice. One of those drinks that goes down so smooth it's dangerous.

Basil Haydens or Larceny are great on the rocks! If your in the mood for something different try Jim Beam Fire on the rocks or with some w/ginger ale mixed 1:3... you'll be pleasantly surprised!
