Help me decide on a 35 whelen suppressor

In iowa we have .358 min rule for deer rifle hunting. I have the rugged 360 ti on my .358 winchester bolt gun and it is crazy light and single shot safe and the best fit for my needs.

I’ve got a Raptor 8 375 with 5” reflex. Works well on 358 Norma Mag and 9.3x62. I’ve run it a lot on my 300WSM also, including my last hunt.

Leaves nothing to be desired. I like the balance with the reflex, so I haven’t tried it without yet. If any of my .357 Carbines were threaded I’d be wanting to try it without the reflex on one of those.

To the OP’s request - I would personally go with a the Alaska 360 Ti. I tried a friends on the range on my Whelen alongside my Raptor 8 w 3” reflex. While the Raptor is better, the difference was surprisingly small. Outside in a hunting setting, the 360 ti does exactly what I need a can to do while be the most minimally intrusive blob on the end of you’re barrel.

For my uses I still prefer the 8 stack .375 raptor. It’s more versatile and a little quieter. And it works on both my Whelen and 375 ultramag. But for normal hunting you leave it off because it is pretty big and heavy. For range use and lots of shooting (culling) the raptor is 👌
