I voted 7 mag but my own “wallet vote” was the 280ai.

So far I am really enjoying this rifle. Might be pulling a 180 on my optic choice but the rifle is a shooter

Would you say the FFT action is like their steel actions (as far as smoothness) in the regular mesa and ridgeline, or is it somewhat rough and sticky like the Titanium versions?

Mine is just like my Mesa. Not bad, and smooths out more after some use.

I just got my FFT all scoped up. Excited to go shoot it next week. I think the tenmile looks pretty good on it. My action feels the same as the BA tactical I have.

I would. It’s practically identical from my experience on two mesas and a Ridgeline I’ve handled before. I’m 100+ rounds in and it seems everything has settled in nice and the action is no doubt smoother than when I took delivery.

Just pulled the trigger on a 7mm-08 from EuroOptic. When not on a sheep hunt, I plan to use this in my climbing stand for Georgia whitetails with a suppressor, so thought the shorter 7mm-08 will the best fit. Plan to work up a load for 120 gr Ballistic Tip or 120 TTSX, depending on which the rifle likes better.

I think you will enjoy it! I’m 180+ Rounds in. It’s smooth it’s light and most importantly… it’s accurate. Enjoy!
