Load development on Wednesday at Dan Ekstrom’s house with a Borden Alpine clone XP-100 center-grip, McMillan stock, Leupold Mark 5HD, Dell trigger built by Michael DeLoach at Nine Run Gun, chambered in 7mm SAUM with the 160 grain Barnes LRX (Norma brass, H-4350, and Redding Comp dies).
3-Shot group at 100 yards off of a portable bench.
Extreme Spread was around 9 if I remember correctly.
MV may wind up closer to 2660ish. 15.9” Brux 8T barrel, and Holland brake.
Looking forward to future drop configurations out to 700-1000 yards.
This should work well on SA plains game this summer.
Big Shout Out to Dan for his help!
Last target is 11-shots, all different powder charges in 1/2 grain increments.
Yes, I recognize that this is just one three-shot group, but it still put a smile on my face.

An xp-100 in 7saum is my dream rig.. I’m stupid jealous.. I’m currently hunting w one in .308 and have one in 6br and 7br.. .308 is too long in my opinion.. smith is hard headed but it is very accurate as are the other two
