Any help would be greatly appreciated. I shot a 300 pound black bear a year ago and I’m looking to hang the rug on the wall. I didn’t get any loops or hooks sewn into the felt unfortunately (kicking myself for that) so I’m starting from scratch. It seems a lot of people online have just screwed a ton of drywall anchors into the wall, but does anyone have any tips from when they’ve done it in the past?

Ive thought about brass grommets to give some strength to the felt but haven’t quite thought it all through yet.

Thanks in advance all!

Mine hangs with just finishing nails through the hide and felt into the drywall. Didn’t try to hit studs and don’t think any of the nails did.

Sewing a loop or metal hook on to the felt yourself is no big deal. Mine came with hooks that I attach to small picture hooks that nail into the drywall. Even the smallest picture hooks in drywall will hold the weight.

I like having the option to move it and not put new holes with the hook. Does it just use regular sewing thread or something a little thicker?
