Help getting 10 posts

Just start a post saying.... What caliber has the most wallop, small calibers are only good for varmints and Leopold scopes are the best.

Go back and look up BOAL......or the 223 thread. You should be able to get a couple hundred posts outta those.😉😉

In all seriousness, rokslide is all about sharing knowledge about backcountry hunting. Ask questions, participate, contribute and have fun.

Thank you. I’m from Northern California and so far I’ve only hunted deer in the Sierras. I haven’t had any success yet. Just a lot of hiking with a rifle on my shoulder. Maybe this year will be better.
We call that : taking your rifle for a walk. ;)

There is so much valuable information in this forum it wont take you long to build up 10 posts. Just find a relevant forum section and ask questions. Gear and species-specific sub forums are where I find the most useful threads for me. I have been a member for close to 10 years but my account was hacked and locked...having to start over so I am in the same boat of having to build up posts!

Don’t worry about that, I have over 6000 useless posts🙂. Good advice above and I’ll add that it’s ok to ask what seems repetitive, for example an eight year old post on a specific piece of gear doesn’t necessarily cover options available today so go ahead and ask that question again.
Can confirm, 80% - maybe better - success rate on useless posts from the venerated fngTony.

The oracle from Ohio brings the wisdom..

Post count +1

The best way to gain post count and creditbilty is to start a caliber thread, preferably a magnum cartridge and come in with logic how you can shoot it just as accurate as a small caliber, and that the wallop factor is what kills animals the most humane way possible, and using smaller calibers are inhumane.

Might as well bring up a tire, tire chain, and chainsaw thread after that
