I am seeking a sight for hunting and 3D....I am sure there are many. My overall goal is this: I shoot way more 3Ds than hunt with the bow. I have never used a single pin. When I compete, I shoot a pins class. The Open guys are just too good. And if you go Open, you'd better go All In. But I would like to shoot some small 3D shoots trying a moveable sight.

I'd like it on a dovetail, so I can slide my Axcel back on for the bigger shoots where I shoot in a pins class.

Montana Black Gold makes an Ascent Target I believe, on a 6" dovetail. I'd have to put on the scope of my choice. I have ZERO experience here.

There is a CBE out now that is on a dovetail.

Spott Hogg has the King Mother of all sights....but I am nearly certain they use an "odd" design dovetail that is not standard and only for other SH products.

Am I missing any worthy of consideration? Do any of you have experience with the MBG Ascent series sights? Seems compact, simple, well designed and pretty open to a myriad of configurations.

I looked at that CBE last night at my buddy's. It is sweet, I have a BG and kinda wish id went CBE

I used to shoot nothing but Montana Blacks Gold. I thought they were great, still do....

I siwtched to Spot Hogg this year and the adjustability on these sights is ridiculous. You can tune it finer than a frog hair split four ways with it's micro adjustments. I'd look at them.

Never tried the CBE but I have heard good things about them as well.

I haven't shot a single pin sight since I was 10-12 so no help there.

The new Pure 75 from MBG is pretty awesome. Slider with a dovetail, micro adjust windage and elevation, 3rd axis adjustability with the brightest pins out there.
