It was a great time! We only saw one mule deer buck and he was just a little 20 inch buck. He is actually the one in the video. It would have been awesome to get some good footage of some of the monsters that call that country home!

Great Video Switchback. Me and a buddy of mine killed two probably out of that same heard on the 4th. Same ridge maybe just a little closer to the river though. I I know what you guys went though. We actually took one out whole that we killed on the ridge just above the landing.

Glad you liked the video Zbowman1! On Travis, we actually rolled it to the bottom and then boned it out. Mine we just boned out and took it back over the top. Fun hunt though!!

Very tough cow hunt and I watched the one were his daughter shot her elk and "Boy can I relate to that feeling!" I still believe 12 years after helping my own daughter get her first elk. I was elated more than any elk I have shot with a bow. Something about bringing out your kid and passing the tradition down that makes one feel good about there success. Nice! Bob.
