Hello from WA!

Hello! I'm a lifelong Washington resident that's getting into big game hunting and fishing. I'm an avid hiker/backpacker and have pheasant hunted with my father-in-law back in the Midwest but haven't chased big game before. Excited to learn a lot and fill my freezer!

This year I'm planning to primarily target black bear with spotting some elk/deer in the back country as a secondary goal. Currently just have a 7mm Rem Mag but interested in getting a bow and learning archery. Picked up a Kuiu hunting pack last year and refining my setup but can't wait to get into the back country again!

Grateful for this forum and what I've learned from it already!
