Hello Everyone

Been a member of the Alaska Forums for a while and just recently discovered Rokslide. After browsing around alittle this seems like a great community. I'm in the US Coast Guard and just recently left Kodiak, Ak after a 5 year tour. I was very fortunate to get to live there and experience several trips of a lifetime. I maintain my residency in Alaska and plan to return every year for hunts until I retire there but in the mean time I'm really looking forward to gaining knowledge here on some of the Western States and planning future Elk and Mule Deer trips. Looking through all these awesome threads is really helping with the cabin fever until it's time to hit the mountains! Looking forward to chatting with you guys and good luck to everyone on your adventures this year!!

This forum is quite a bit different, in a much better way. I find it a lot more positive than the AK forum and ive appreciated learning from all the people and their use of their gear on the site.

Btw, congrats on your ram last year! it was a great read and an absolutely gorgeous ram.

this is very true! great ppl on here! just wish everyone was night owls like me so i wouldn't be bored at work!
