hi everyone,

seeing if anyone has had any experience with heated base layers. i hunt archery in PA and pull all day sits in the tree stand and hate to get cold. i have been looking around a lot of the web and now reaching out to see if anyone has used stuff like this. ive been really interested in the gerbing heated clothing https://www.gerbing.com/torrid-mens-battery-heated-softshell-vest

let me know and thanks

I wouldn't want my base layers heated, they're for moisture control. But I'd run a heated insulation layer if I thought I needed it.

well i shouldve said more on this but i do use a merino wool base layer im looking at more of what you are talking about on the heated insulation layer. what do you use?

I occasionally use a heated Milwaukee tool vest and it’s decent. My particular one is made for work so it’s a bit big and bulky. The one you have pictured looks more comfortable. I haven’t gotten lower back spasms since I started using it and that was my main driver on trying to stay a little warmer. Definitely takes the edge off but doesn’t make the hands or feet warm.
