Heat vanes

Used 3 Heat vanes with Iron Will Wide 100’s last season out of my Prime Black 3. Can’t remember if they are straight or 1 degree offset, but they shot very well for me.

OK, I bought a fletcher to do 4 fletch? What helical are you guys going with on a 4 fletch?

You don't need much on a 4 fletch. The tests I saw with John Stallone at AAE showed that 1 degree is fine. However you can run as much as 3 without much loss at distance. However that particular study really showed that 3 fletch was superior in almost every category minus stabilizing the arrow out of the bow quicker.

i cant tell much of a difference between heat vanes and blazers with field tips. but with broadheads the blazers definitely group better. the heat vanes are noticeably quieter tho
