Heat exchanger hacks and optimal volume

What do guys find is the optimal volume cooking pot for drink and freeze dried meal?

The jetboil systems are heavy and stove not so great. The MSR reactor and Windburner seem better but also a tank. Looking at combination of Soto windmaster with a heat exchange pot and windscreen

Been playing with Fire Maple heat hx, wide sea hx pot. The backpacking community has lots of hacks posted online

1 best volume pot/mug?
2 combo of gas stove and heat hx people have tried?
