You’ve got two uniparty shills running congress. Johnson in the House and McConnell in the senate. Even with their majority, the simplest task…confirming the president’s cabinet picks is drama. I don’t expect anything big or meaningful from the GOP given their long history of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
I thought thune took over senate majority leader

You’re right, when they couldn’t keep up the Weekend at Bernie’s deal with Mitch any longer they replaced him with Thune. Fingers crossed…I would be elated to send Dos Perros a case of beer.

yes it’s reduced. Less reduction than a brake, so maybe 20%

Depends. Light are 8-9 oz, heavy are 20oz +

Zero moves. On my rifles it up and right a little. Accuracy is usually unchanged.
Thank you!!

For those with silencers, besides reducing noise, is recoil also reduced?

How heavy are they?

Do they affect accuracy or your rifles zero?

Thunderbeast lists approximate sound suppression in db and recoil reduction for their suppressors as an example.

Recoil reduction is around 20-30% for suppressor alone and up to 60% for their new suppressors with integrated muzzle breaks.

I finally broke down and bought one. Carried it on a 5 day cow elk hunt and didn’t really notice it being there.

Less noise.
Less recoil.
More weight to rifle but not significant to me. With the CB mount I can easily screw it on or off and carry it in my pack if I prefer.
No effect on accuracy.

Was nice when I shot and the elk at 200 yards just stood there looking around wondering what had just happened. They were hardly spooked at all.

Would like to go back in time to before I permanently damaged my hearing to have a suppressor (or at least take the time to use ear pro before shooting).

If it weren’t for the NFA hoops to get through and formerly ridiculous wait times I would have done it a long time ago.

It’s time for the restriction on suppressors to go and the next 4 years are the most likely chance we’ve seen in a long time.

A couple of my guns are already threaded and ready to go. I too have some hearing damage from years of hunting, but it's not bad. I would gladly carry one. I hope it happens.

I got my hearing ruined in the military. I just purchased my first suppressor in January. It’s a game changer imo. My accuracy is still the same when I didn’t have one. Only took 3.5 days to clear ATF.

I would be shocked if any bill on this subject it makes it to the floor for a vote this year. Rs cant even get on the same page with cabiet nominations.
McConnel will fall on the bill if it does come up for a vote :ROFLMAO:

Good Luck!

I'd be happy if the NFA and ATF were abolished and most states instituted a $200 tax stamp for conservation applied to the sale of every ATV, dirt bike, e-bike, snow machine, and motorboat purchased by non-disabled persons.
