They said I had to have my ears cleaned out or they would not do the test. I asked, don't you do that, and was told no we don't. As far as seeing then straight away, it's a 6 week wait time to get in.

I've got it in both ears. Unfortunately my hearing aids have not helped with it. I understand that it's a crap shoot whether they help or not. I’m in the same position went ahead and bought the best I could afford, they have helped with my ringing in my ears at night time. It took some time to noticeably get better. I can hear turkeys and bird’s againBumping this useful thread.
What is the best technique when it’s time to shoot? Pull both hearing aids out and use some type of ear pro, like foamies? 90% of the time I have enough time to use ear plugs before the shot. Just wondering if anyone has learned of better techniques with their hearing aids.
