A buddy and I were able to pick up leftover archery antelope tags in Montana. We looking to try something different this year so aren't heading out until next month in hopes of using decoys/spot & stalk instead of sitting waterholes.
Due to other hunt plans the dates we have set aside will be Sept 12-19th. Maybe a week earlier than what I would have preferred, but that's what we've got.
To those that have played the decoy game do you think our dates are late enough to get into some good rutting action? We'll certainly bring along a couple of Pop up blinds in case we have to go that way but am really hoping we can spend our time out and about chasing and decoying.
Any other type of suggestions?
