Very interested in the hawkins rings, I’ve used Talley light weight rings in the past, I’ve never had issues yet, but have read of guys having issues with rings marks using Talleys. What benefits do the hawkins long range hybrids have over Talley rings? And do you think they are worth the extra money? Im not looking to cut corners on rings. I’m looking for something for my CA Mesa fft 450 bushmaster with a vx6 3-18x50. What hight rings you guys think would work. Low or medium. Thanks in advance
On a Mesa I’d imagine you could go low. Last few sets I bought they only offered low/high so the med option must be new.

There is no Medium on the Long Range Hybrids. Just Low and High.

30mm
Low - .5"
High - .6"

34mm
Low - .55"
High - .65"

The wording kind of trips folks up since the high is basically a Medium.

The new rings will come in Low/MED/High. We are aiming for a May launch on those pending some packaging. Browning is on our radar as well, but will not be a part of the initial launch.

Any zero Win M70 options?

I've been checking Hawkins Precision website but haven't seen anything yet. Hopefully they'll post here with info.

I was going to order a new MT Raptor Mount but decided to try these out. Should be here tomorrow.

I spoke with a Hawkins rep with some of the same concerns that have been addressed here:

Why no recoil lug on tikka?: Their testing on a 300 mag (can’t remember exact cal.) showed it didn’t need it.

In a 2 piece 25moa if the holes are a little closer or a little further (correct distance between the rings) wouldn't the scope bind?:…. They haven’t seen this issue with tikka.

I think I saw pictures of one cracked ring but other than that I’ve seen pretty positive comments on them.
