This 100%, I would buy 0 moa’s for a bunch of my sporter stocked LW setups. Stuck w/ Talley for nowThe first 2 paragraphs sound like a business owner who doesn’t want to make what his customers are telling him they want! And to counter your point, I have a 700 with a McM Rem Hunter stock (not much comb) and every bit of rear occular height is a negative. I just measured 2 rails, a 0 and a 20 moa. The height difference was about 1/8”. Enough to matter, to me anyway. And if you had 0 moa Hybrids in stock, those absolutely would have been my first choice and I would have bought them in a heartbeat. There’s also enough guys with non tactical, traditional rifles without big combs, who would buy them too, because Talley’s suck. With the trend towards shorter scopes, being able to swap bases for more versatility is definitely an advantage. So please, and I mean this in a positive way…. Stop with the excuses and make us what we’re asking for. Sales 101…. When a woman walks into a store and says she wants to buy a pair of red shoes, what do you sell her?
Your last sentence is what we need to hear. Stick with that thought process, please!
You can’t reverse them, they have 25 moa “angle “ so if you reverse them you are torquing your scope on an uneven platform.Help me understand these rings a little bit more, and please forgive my naiveness. When I was mounting them, I noticed there was an arrow pointing the way they “should” go. With the mounts on the tikka I couldn’t get the right eye relief and decided to “reverse mount” the rear ring allowing me to slide the scope more before hitting. When I did this I didn’t think anything of it, but reading this thread has me thinking I did this wrong and will have issues with accuracy or getting a zero, or something. Am I overthinking this? Again my apologies for my lack of understanding on this topic.

Sounds fantastic. Thanks.I think you'll be happy with the new rings we are working on right now. It is our answer to everything you guys are wanting. Because of this new release we will not be making the 0MOA hybrids anymore. Then we will fully cover both the folks that want MOA built in and those that do not.
Also, please don't reverse the arrow/direction on the hybrids. With the cant built in you will put your scope in a bind doing so.
Thanks
Preaching sales 101 to a very successful parts company is just nuts to me. How are you able to tell them there's "enough" demand for a part to start producing it? What is enough? Do you think you truly understand their business metrics well enough to weigh the initial costs and then potential sales of a certain niche product to really say, ya they should make that part? I know several people with the hybrid rings, and none of them complain that they aren't 0 MOA and the 1/8" height is killing their cheek weld. The first 2 paragraphs sound like a business owner who doesn’t want to make what his customers are telling him they want! I just don't think a few people on a forum thread requesting a certain product justifies calling a company out on the basics of sales 101 and telling them when there is enough demand to justify it. It isn't like this is a 50 page thread asking for it, and it isn't like Hawkins hasn't been responsive to other requests - they put out new products all the time. I could be the bad guy on this, I just don't like calling out a solid company like that.Did you not read the thread? There are multiple people here saying they want 0 moa. And obviously Hawkins is listening as they are rolling out production of exactly that.
You guys take things too seriously. And this thread isn’t the first time it’s come up. It has here several times. Remington 700 pattern versions will be available first. Probably in a few months here, still working some items out.Any idea on when the new rings will be available?
Night and day difference in quality. Hawkins are way more beefy. And are actually round!Very interested in the hawkins rings, I’ve used Talley light weight rings in the past, I’ve never had issues yet, but have read of guys having issues with rings marks using Talleys. What benefits do the hawkins long range hybrids have over Talley rings? And do you think they are worth the extra money? Im not looking to cut corners on rings. I’m looking for something for my CA Mesa fft 450 bushmaster with a vx6 3-18x50. What hight rings you guys think would work. Low or medium. Thanks in advance
Any chance of an xbolt version for the new rings?Remington 700 pattern versions will be available first. Probably in a few months here, still working some items out.
