I’m currently using the M5 Hunter bottom metal and mags for my 7 SAUM but I’m thinking about swapping to the M5 Oberndorf. Feeding has been great but I prefer a floor plate on a hunting rifle.
My question for those using this bottom metal with a SAUM (or WSM) with the MBE-4 kit, have you had any feeding issues? Are there any other potential issues when switching to a floor plate vs mags?
Build specs:
Atlas lite (with the BDL cut)
Manners UC Plus with mini chassis, M5 inlet
