Hawkins DBM vs HS Precision DBM

Building a 7 PRC off a Defiance action in a Mesa Precision Altitude stock.

Which DBM would you go with? Hawkins or HS Precision and why

If I remember correctly HS has a very short OAL capacity but I could be mistaken.

That's more than I remember, I'd get either one and be happy. Both are excellent quality.

I’d go with Hawkins because they were awesome helping me trouble shoot feeding issues on a build that were ultimate unrelated to their product. They are a solid company both on the customer service and technical side.

Never owned a Hawkins so I can't comment on that one but I have numerous HS Prec. det. mag setups on rifles with one being my 7mm Blaser mag which is a near twin to the 7 PRC and it has been great. All of mine have run flawless with not a single issue with any of them so my vote would go towards the purchase of a HS Precision det mag setup.

Hawkins. Great products and great company to deal with. I bought a used M5 dbm and needed a set of pillars and action screws and they mailed me a set for no charge. Have dealt with them a couple other times and they were very helpful.
