Hart Rifles

Anyone have a Hart custom rifle built out of their shop in Nescopek, Pa? I am looking at a custom gun build for an upcoming Elk Hunt.

i do not own a rifle built by them but i have met them and they have been around a long time.

i would trust them because they know what works.

I've had a rifle built, and several barrels threaded by Hart. If you are local to them, and know specifically what you want, and are very clear on it, I'd recommend them.
If you talking about a full custom build, there are some others that I have used that have built a more accurate rifle.
Again, not that I wasn't pleased, but I am after supreme accuracy.

yes.there are others i would use because in the last 30 years of having customs built,also knowing 2 people who had them in the past and shot them myself as well as checked there work done on these.to much to go into.are they decent rifles yes.but when your spending thousands of dollars you want top shelf what i call as good as it gets.tell me how much are you willing to spend,are you ordering the parts or having the gunsmith order the parts.whats the maximum distance you have the ability to harvest your animal,meaning kill and not maim.im assuming this is somewhat of a beginning or step up in your hunting experience.if you respond i will tell you a few i trust.trust in there work and just as important there honesty and integrity.also there are builders out there who are good,but there pricing is truly ridiculous.
