Does anyone have any good recommendations for a quality shotgun case? Would prefer one that could actually fit two shotguns since my wife will sometimes tag along, so I need to be able to carry two guns. I use SXS and O/U so the case would need to fit that style of shotgun.

Usually would just use a sleeve but my bird dog tends to cause mayhem in the back of the car and worried about him running all over them.

Thanks for the help!

For normal driving, I have two of these double gun cases.

I can easily fit two heavy barrel varmit rifles and bipods (unattached) above the butt stock/behind the scopes no problem.

Never had an issue. Flew to Florida and went on a pig hunt with these cases and the rifles inside were fine. Dont know if I'd do that again, but it was all I had at the time.

Acutally, in June, went to S. Dakota with the family and was able to squeeze a Savage 223, a 17WSM Heavy Barrel and two youth .22 Rascals in one of these cases!

It was a family vacation out to the Badlands and took a half day to prairie dog hunt. We didnt have room for multiple gun cases, but I made it work!

If going to an aiport. I have an Apache from Harbor Freight. Lots of other guys like Pelicans. (Now that I have the Apache, thats what I'd use if traveling by plane.)

Negrini's are good to go. My K80 banged around in my work van for years and now it's under the back seat of my truck. No issues. You can fly with them too.

I have an SKB "hybrid" case too that I don't use any longer but I like it.

Have flown my long guns fully assembled in a hard sided golf bag carrier, a cheap one, a couple times without issue. Flown my clubs in it a few times too. Might work for you if you need that level of protection. Or a hard sided rifle case, have flown with shotguns in that too.

But for traveling to the range, I just drop it in a fleece lined zippered carrier from Sears. Yes, it's that old.
