2026 Whitetail Prospects: Post Your Target Bucks

Figured I would post this to share some photos of bucks that will outsmart me this season.

I'd love to know what other folks are seeing throughout the year in different regions.

My dad and I run a few trail cameras in north Georgia and western Washington. This guy is definitely one of the bigger ones we've caught on camera this year in Georgia. He doesn't look very old to me- maybe 4 y/o?

Here are a couple MN public land bucks I have found this summer. The first buck was from a few weeks ago. The second buck was from tonight.

1st pic hung out by our barn last year and he was tall. That grey face stands out. Glad he's still around

I have a lot of history with this buck. I've been watching him for the past 34 years or so. Maybe longer. Just have never been able to close the deal.

Ha! I'm not using cameras. But probably come late august/sept I might take a weekend or two to do some glassing. Dodging the grizzlies, misquotes and rattle snakes. Just hoping EHD doesn't kill everything. That area is weird. The mulie and WT populations flip flop every other year. One year there's a ton of mulies and hardly any real deer. Then the next year there's a lot of deer and only a few prairie carp.
