You too! Actually, according to my significant other, she says that it is the first day of spring. Being that all the days are longer now....................says it gets her through the winter. Woman's logic, I guess.

Still no sun here in Prudhoe Bay...at least we are on the upswing now! Wont see the sun for about another month. Only 231 days until opening day!!

Puts a lot more meaning into the day. Pretty cool to have the birth of your daughter coincide with the rebirth of the sun.

Living in a tent again this winter ( only 24 days a month while at work ) solstice is a milestone I look forward to, but it's still going to be 6 weeks before a guy gets to split his nights firewood in the daylight
