Is there a restrictions on Mag/Rounds for handguns in Colorado while bow hunting?

15 round mag restriction here. Honestly don't know why you'd even want to carry that many rounds around in the woods

Who has ever complained about having too much ammo handy?

No restrictions other than don't shoot what you are hunting with it. No one cares about the standard capacity state limit. Just don't do something stupid.

Thankfully haven't ran into any issues in CO. If I did I'm sure I'd be packing more than the legal limit from that day forward haha. It just seems the more ammo/weight with the gun the less likely I am to be packing it in with me.

Don't disagree with you. Carry whatever makes you comfortable. It'd be much more likely to have your hunting license checked or anything else other than your mag capacity unless the officer has a bone to pick with you.
